Robin Wright's Golden Globes Wardrobe Malfunction, Flashes Pasty: Vid

June 2024 · 1 minute read

Watch those pasties! Robin Wright gave fans quite the eyeful while accepting the award for Best Actress in a Television Series for her role as Claire Underwood in Netflix’s House of Cards.

The stunned actress recalled Merritt Wever‘s 2013 Emmy Awards speech in which the Nurse Jackie actress said, “I’ve got to go, bye!” The newly-engaged Wright, 47, motioned backstage saying she wished she could join Wever. And as she motioned behind her, her gold-beaded Reem Acra halter gown shifted, showing off the flesh-colored pasties covering her nipple.

The slip was minor, but definitely called out on social media with fans and critics tweeting about it.

“Robin Wright ALSO wins for best wardrobe malfunction!” costume designer Luke Reichle tweeted.

But these days Wright has plenty to celebrate in addition to her new golden trophy. The Princess Bride star recently got engaged to actor Ben Foster. The couple hit the Golden Globes red carpet together in their second public appearance since the engagement was announced.
