Teresa Giudice will reportedly star in her very own wedding special.
After confirming her and Luis Ruelas‘ nuptials will not air on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and teasing a potential spinoff or special, Teresa has allegedly landed a four-episode special, which is expected to chronicle her August wedding. The wedding is expected to take place at the Park Chateau Estate in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
“Allegedly Teresa Giudice will be getting a 4 episode wedding special!!” the RHONJ Obsessed fan page on Twitter announced on July 23.
Then, the following day, the outlet suggested that the four-part special had not yet been set in stone, likely due to the fact that the wedding footage has not yet been captured and could provide more or less content than expected.
“Again this alleged take with a grain of salt plans could change,” they added.
News of the RHONJ cast member’s alleged special comes less than two weeks after a report claimed Teresa’s longtime best friend and former castmate, Dina Manzo, had pulled out of her big day due to the fact that camera crews would be present.
There’s a “very strong likelihood the wedding is being filmed,” an insider told Page Six at the time. “Dina has made it clear that she does not want to be on camera, and Teresa is OK with it.”
“Teresa respects Dina’s wishes and looks forward to celebrating with her in the future,” the source continued, shutting down rumors of a potential feud. “They remain as close as ever.”
But according to a recent report, friends, including Dina’s husband, Dave Cantin, are having ill feelings about Teresa and Luis’ upcoming nuptials, some of whom have been warning Teresa about marrying Luis.
“Her husband, Dave, doesn’t get along with Louie,” an insider told Life & Style. “No surprise there — not many of Teresa’s friends do.”
Earlier this year, a police report surfaced in which Luis was accused of pushing his former fiancée, Vanessa Reiser, into a metal pole in 2012. And it wasn’t the first time he’d been accused of acting inappropriately with women.
“When Louie’s exes came forward, Teresa’s friends were rightfully concerned. But she just laughed off the allegations, and anyone who tries to talk to her about it gets blacklisted,” the source continued.
And while Teresa’s rep has denied the report, the insider insisted, “Friends are whispering that she should call it off before it’s too late!”
Following Dina’s exit from the wedding and Teresa’s bridal party, Jennifer Aydin and Dolores Catania were reportedly added to the event as bridesmaids. As for the rest of the party, Luis’ sisters and Teresa’s daughters, Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, will round out the group.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is currently in production and expected to air later this year or early next year on Bravo.
