Renee Zellweger: How Her Look Has Changed Through the Years (Pictures)

July 2024 · 2 minute read

Talk about an evolution!

Renee Zellweger has notably transformed through the years, from her breakout days in Jerry Maguire to Bridget Jones’s Diary and beyond. But the blonde beauty’s face caused quite the Internet stir when she stepped out to the 2014 Elle Women in Hollywood Awards on Oct. 20.

Without a wrinkle in sight, Zellweger strutted her stuff down the red carpet in a Carolina Herrera dress, Christian Louboutin heels, and an almost unrecognizable fresh face. Has she undergone some form of plastic surgery? Or should we simply credit her glow to the je ne sais quoi of a content women, who’s been lying low since her last film in 2010? You be the judge! Scroll through to see Zellweger’s ever-changing face.

1998
Striking a pose for LIFE magazine (top left), an apple-cheeked Zellweger matched her baby blues with a sky-blue tank while smiling sweetly.

2003
Bulking up just a bit for her role as curvaceous heroine Bridget Jones, the actress premiered Cold Mountain in Los Angeles while working tousled waves and a bold red (possibly plumper) statement lips.

2005
The Oscar winner turned heads when she walked the carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Cinderella Man with a smooth, pale face.

2009
Arriving for a screening of her film, My One and Only, in New York City, Zellweger appeared ageless with peachy skin and thicker brows.

2012
The blue-eyed babe, who dated Bradley Cooper from 2009 to 2011, had no new releases in 2012, but that didn’t stop her from partying at the 29th Annual Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars in New York City. She looked happy and healthy with pink lips and matching rosy cheeks (and are those smile lines we see?!).

2013
Another movie-free year, Zellweger, who’s mastered comedy and drama with her roles, appeared almost stunned as photographers captured her leaving a screening of Long Shot: The Kevin Laue Story in Burbank, Ca.

2014
Today, at 45, Zellweger appears practically wrinkle-free, and her naturally slanted eyes look wider than ever (top right). Which begs the question: How does she do it? Still, she looked fresh-faced celebrating her fellow Hollywood ladies, with the smile we know and love! She was last on-screen in 2010’s My Own Love Song, but she’ll be back up there again in 2015’s The Whole Truth.
