Hazel Pascual Reyes (born May 9, 1979), better known by her screen name Ara Mina, is a Filipina actress, fashion model and singer. She won the Golden Screen Award in 2004 for Best Actress in a drama in the Philippines for her role as Luna in Minsan Pa. Mina is also known for her roles in the films Mano Po and Huling Birhen sa Lupa, the two of which that have given her acting trophies in the past.
Mina has appeared on the television shows Bubble Gang, Prinsesa ng Banyera, and Totoy Bato. She also played the role of Glacilda Bautista in Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?. Mina has also starred as Josie Ramirez in the afternoon drama Yesterday’s Bride on GMA Network. In 2013, she has appeared in the drama anthologies of networks ABS-CBN and GMA, Maalaala Mo Kaya and Magpakailanman, respectively, and has also made guest appearances on Wansapanataym on ABS-CBN and Startalk on GMA.
In 2016 Mina returned to her home network GMA Network and as her comeback project she will be doing the remake of 1987 film Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa and will play the role as an antagonist.

Personal life

She is the daughter of Chuck Mathay, a former Philippine congressman from Quezon City. Her half-sister Cristine Reyes is also an actress with ABS-CBN.

On December 17, 2014, Mina gave birth to a daughter, Amanda Gabrielle Meneses, her first child with Bulakan mayor, Patrick Meneses.
