The Showmax reality dating show Bae Beyond Borders finally premiered and it received a very nonchalant reception from online users.
All about Bae Beyond Borders
The dating show sees four South African women looking for love who are given the option to date 12 Nigerian men.
At first, they all start speed-dating online and this narrows the men down to eight. The women then travel from South Africa to Nigeria to meet the men who impressed them. From there, the number gets narrowed even further to four.
The men who they see a future with will travel back home with them to Cape Town and they will spend the remainder of the episodes at a villa.
The series premiered on 23 October and airs every Monday on Showmax.

Commenting under entertainment commentator Phil Mphela's tweet about the show, Mzansi was highly unimpressed. Many were put off by the trailer and immediately decided that it was not worth their time.
